3D Design CAD - provides the optimal creative design environment yet is plagued with challenges related to poor fit. Initiating 3D practice with an Intelligent Shaping™ fit-engineered parent block ensures the design process originates from a fit-optimized block. The 3D experience becomes a design session with digital sampling entirely replacing physical counterparts. 

2D Design CAD - offers the linear workflow that will one day make generative apparel design possible. However, nuances related to shape-specific pattern techniques make parameterization for body shape ineffective. Intelligent Shaping™ body-shape sizing, however, addresses the design-for-body-shape technique to make the mass customization of apparel products inclusive of outliers.

2D Sketching CAD – provides the necessary line drawings for manufacturing tech packs. It is also an effective tool for ideation. Traditional practice, however, favours stylized line drawings not necessarily reflecting the silhouette of the intended project. Available with every Intelligent Shaping™ block pattern is a scaled parent sketch for improved design-for-body-shape decision making.
